Beer description
We aged our Belgian-style black ale in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 16 months. During that time the flavors of whiskey were infused into the Belgian black ale. In addition, the barrels went in a bit of a wild direction, picking up flavors of sour cherries that pairs well with the stonefruit of the Belgian yeast. Aroma notes of vanilla, stone fruit, charred oak, sweet and sour cherries.
