Beer description
Hazy dark brown-amber, lasting, thin, frothy, tan head. Aroma of prune, red jam, moist tobacco, wood, dried leaves, whisky, liqueur-filled chocolates. Taste has sweetish prune, raisin & fig, peppery & herbal bitter notes over a sourish berry undercurrent, kept together by a chocolatey & biscuity maltiness. Dryish, peppery hoppy finish, bit tart & fruity, alcohol effect pointing at whisky & port wine. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Another enjoyable 'experimental' brew by the people at Bourgogne des Flanders.
