Beer description
The brewery wanted to try their hand at an American IPA using American Hops and they sourced a new hop (for them) called Centennial and so when they trying to come up with a name for the beer they were looking for something that happened 100 years ago (i.e. Centennial) with an American connection and what they found out was that in 1919 , the legendary Baseball player Babe Ruth (pictured) was transferred from the Boston Red Sox to their bitter rivals , the New York Yankees and subsequently the Red Sox went on a 'trophy-less' run stretching from 1919 right upto 2004 and so the 'Curse of the Bambino' was created - Bambino being Babe Ruth's nickname. They take on 'Curse Of The Bambino' is a 4.4% 'reddish' American IPA and they hope you enjoy it.
