Beer description
It is a representation in liquid form of our favorite season.
Brewed in January 2021 with our Pils malt, Italian Cara50 malt and a touch of chocolate, the recipe calls for the addition of muscovado sugar at multiple times during production.
Matured for 17 months in American Rye and Irish Whiskey barrels.
This type of cask was chosen to emphasize the spice and particular ripe fruit aromas of the Westmalle yeast. The aromatic part stands out for the powerful balance between all components.
Wood, distilled, charred, vanilla coming from the barrels;
milk chocolate, dried fruit, hot caramel, sweet toastiness coming from the malts;
prunes in syrup, esters and phenols contained, dryness coming from the yeast.
This Quadrupel reveals itself to be deep, introverted and nuanced, like the autumn that has just begun.
