Beer description
Hit the Road is a barrel-aged version of our legendary Thai Cargo. This imperial stout, infused with lime, galangal, turmeric, lemongrass, chilies, and coconut, has been aged in cognac barrels for 14 weeks. Its aroma transports you directly to a kitchen where an Asian-inspired dish is simmering. On the palate, the chili is immediately apparent, followed by lime, lemongrass, and spices, all harmoniously complemented by smooth, woody notes. The finish is rich and rounded, with subtle hints of chili.
