Beer description
Placidus Kobolt, his civil name, was a priest in Ummendorf before he became abbot of Ochsenhausen Monastery. Unfortunately, the churchman suffered from "unequivocal traces of a manifold mental disorder", so that he was soon dismissed. However, the headstrong abbot not only gained rare fame for his strange deeds, but also for the construction of the monastery's brewery. So the man couldn't have been all that confused.
