In our case, she describes the mystical interactions between the malty roast flavors of a stout and floral hop notes of an IPA. A Black IPA, also called Cascadian Dark Ale or American Black Ale, is a rather young beer style, which, like dark matter, often needs explanation: a deep black beer, on which a fine-pored, creamy head of foam rests. Everything points to a stout. If you bring the glass to your mouth, you will notice intense hop aromas reminiscent of an India Pale Ale. In the Antrunk intense roasted aromas of espresso and dark chocolate prevail. However, these are quickly complemented by floral notes of hops, reminiscent of citrus fruits, which take on the sensory supremacy in the aftermath. With each sip a new nuance is revealed. The Black IPA wants to be constantly explored in terms of taste - just like dark matter.
