Townshend Brewery Ltd - Brewers Collaboration Series: Chatham's Rise

This collaboration series brew is names after Chatham's Rise, which is actually a location rather than a cryptic beer name. Chatham Rise is off the East Coast of the South Island on latitude 41, the global latitude that hops need to ripen properly. It is a rather appropriate title for an ale stacked with a combo of fresh Chinook and Cascade hopes farmed a short latitude from our brewery. This is one third in a series of new fresh hopped beers that belong to the Townshend’s vs. Liberty collaboration. While you are at it grab the other two to compare, Chatham's Rise and Last of the Summer Ale. Joseph came up with the bulk of the recipies for Chatham's Rise, Last of the Summer Ale and Oldahm's Tap. He's a great guy and it's great to be able to give him a nod too!
