Townshend Brewery Ltd - Brewers Collaboration Series: Oldham's Tap Pilsner

This beer brewing gig is full of great characters who are as passionate about the part they play in the process as we are about putting it all together. Oldham’s Tap takes it’s name from a true blue fellow named Colin Oldham from Taperwera, and that’s where his hop garden is situated. He kindly supplied the 100% fresh Riwaka hops delicately used in this 100% NZ ingredients Pilsner. This is one third in a series of new fresh hopped beers that belong to the Townshend’s vs. Liberty collaboration. While you are at it grab the other two to compare, Chatham's Rise and Last of the Summer Ale. Joseph came up with the bulk of the recipies for Chatham's Rise, Last of the Summer Ale and Oldahm's Tap. He's a great guy and it's great to be able to give him a nod too!
