Douglas Celtic Red is a strong beer whose amber verges on red, the colour of brave warriors’ blood. Its taste is direct and precise, with spicy and dry hints suggestive of the exhilaration of combat. Its subtly caramelised flavour returns in force, like a fallen soldier picking himself up. The dark amber colour is redolent of the superb crimson-clad lands from which this beer originated.
