Brooks Barley Helmet

A malty beer that uses its hop flavor to complement and enhance its chocolate and caramel characters.Lots of hard labor went into constructing the tap room at Brooks Brewing. Likewise, lots of tasting went into development of this brown ale. Occasionally these two duties (construction and sampling product) would occur simultaneously. It was when brewery noticed that the inside of our brewers welding helmet smelled of freshly cracked malted barley that the name of this beer was born. Medium in body with rich caramel, biscuit and light chocolate flavors. Almost no hop presence. Clean American ale style finish.
