Burgdorfer - Weizen IPA

An India Pale Ale is characterized by a complex taste, full-bodiedness, intense hop bitterness, and a strong hop bouquet. In contrast, a wheat beer has a velvety-smooth texture, a moderate bitterness, and a fruity aroma profile. With our Wheat IPA, we want to combine these two beer styles in a sensory and finely-tuned way. The strong beer, wrapped in an opal, transitioning into a rich honey-colored gold with copper reflections, boasts a thick foam crown. The scent ranges from fresh hop cones to ripe bananas to glacier ice candies. The velvety-smooth mouthfeel is complemented by fruity aromas and leaves a bittersweet finish that makes you crave the next sip. Spicy grilled meats or a fine burger are ideal companions.
