Foudre Fermented Kellerpils Lager
In the spaces of silence we hear the generous overtones of those things that brought us here. Fragile refractions of time and space, all leading us to this potent moment of modernity. A simple base of 100% Czech grown pilsner malt was mashed in three steps before adding Tettnang and Hersbrucker hops throughout the boil and whirlpool to create a classic old world pilsner base that we then fermented cold in our American oak foudre before briefly lagering in stainless. Find lively aromas of freshly harvested herbs and the first cuts of sourdough bread straight from the oven in this classic unfiltered kellerpils all wrapped in warm oak.
