Buxton Brewery - Thermal Shock

For "Thermal Shock" we teamed up with our good friends from St. Austell to celebrate our mutual love for English hops. We combined the varieties Target and Jester with a touch of Chinook to create a Cold IPA that is fresh, crisp, and extremely drinkable. The heart of the beer is the "Cornish Gold" malt from the St. Austell selection, which brings a pure, crisp malt character and allows the hops plenty of room to shine. A Cold IPA combines some of the aspects we love about both lagers and IPAs. By fermenting at cooler temperatures with a clean fermenting yeast, we can create a particularly crisp and clear base that highlights the hop character.
