Bygland Bryggeri - Bjorøl Steam Beer

Steam Beer is a golden amber-coloured beer that combines the freshness of a pilsner with the complexity of an ale. It has a malty flavour with hints of caramel and subtle notes of hop bitterness. Translated into Norwegian, steam beer becomes ‘dampøl’, which we believe is a perfect tribute to the steamboat ‘DS Bjoren’ that sails on the Byglandsfjord.
