Ca' del Brado - Formicarum 2022

Formicarum is a spontaneously fermented beer . Dedicated to the Sanctuary of Monte delle Formiche , an evocative place of worship not far from our brewery, which in turn owes its name to the natural phenomenon that occurs once a year: the migration to this hill of a variety of winged ants , which in the month of September arrive in swarms from central Europe to perform their nuptial flight (after mating, the males die on the slopes of the sanctuary).
