Casa Veccia Special

The Special (which in Rome is called Vacanze Romane) is a beer inspired by the beers of abazia. The dedicated yeast (changed after the first experiments as it was considered too aggressive, and medicinal) now gives an enviable softness to the beer. On the whole the beer is medium alcoholic, with a good body, the spicy notes of pepper, cinnamon, cloves of the first taste give way to a not too marked bitter note that is not even so persistent as to make it annoying. Surely alcohol is the master, but so it must be in a beer that is born with an important alcohol content.
