For a long time, Suze fans were confined to an age group between 77 and 107, but we have to admit that this Gentian-based beverage has recently returned to the forefront of the aperitif scene.
But did you know that a cocktail called 'Fond de Culotte' combines Suze and Liqueur de Cassis in certain regions of France?
So here's our brewery reinterpretation, which we wanted to be both gourmet and desserty, with a hefty load of oat flakes and blackcurrants, as well as lactose to break up the bitterness of the gentian that usually makes the molar teeth of gentian detractors crunch.
