Chutney - Aquines

Two years ago we brewed this special beer to celebrate the construction of our new microbrewery in 2018 and the time has come to share it with you. This is AQUINES the pirate wizard, a Barlewine at 10% vol. A bit of Canary history. John Hawkins, born in Plymouth, was a pirate with a privateer's licence from Queen Elizabeth I of England. In the Canary Islands he was known as Aquines, due to the Castilianisation of the name. He was known for his particular way of killing his rivals, as he used magic tricks and pretended to read their futures by predicting their death, what a bastard!
