Visitors often ask “what are those old, brick towers dotted around the Island?” Chicory farming was introduced to the Island in 1870 and the kilns still stand today as a reminder of our history. Classic Irish in style, using hops and malts imported from the UK, roasted chicory was added during the brewing process. Enjoy this unique Chicory Stout as a tribute to the history of Phillip Island.
