Chippewa River West River Lager Oktoberfest

What better way to mark the changeover from summer to winter than with an Oktoberfest lager? Oktoberfest started as a celebration of a royal wedding in Munich, Germany, and the annual festivities continue to this day around the world. They are celebrating too. Their brewing company sits near the site of the first brewery in Chippewa Falls, the Schmitmayer Brewery, which was established in the 1850’s. They applaud our past and present brewers and beer lovers with our West River Lager. Welcome autumn with this deep amber Oktoberfest lager brewed with a traditional German recipe.
