J Wakefield Brewing - Choconana

To celebrate Mostra Coffee turning 6, I connected with my family at JWB to brew an Imperial Stout inspired by Mostra Coffee's most popular cold brew, "Choconana". To further support the Mostra family's commitment to building the awareness of Philippine origin coffee I have committed to using Mostra Coffee from the Philippines. For this beer we used Sitio Belis Coffee from the Philippines. John, Maria, Mike & I decided to age the beer in a Woodford Reserve Bourbon Vanilla Barrel before treating it with Coffee, Banana, and a special dose of rare Peruvian Vanilla.
