Fermentation
Beer description
Coconut Porter times two. Literally. The brewery've taken their beloved Coconut Porter recipe and doubled it. What does this mean? It’s a bigger, thicker, richer, fuller, higher alcohol version of the Coconut Porter. And if that weren’t enough, they aged it on some delightful Sugar Maple spirals. The spirals lend notes of maple, (more) vanilla, caramel, and bourbon pecan. This is a big beer with big rich flavors; but as always it is artfully balanced. Fermented on the lower range for ale temperatures allows the yeast to work slow and steady without adding any boozy/high alcohol flavors. And of course, once fermentation is done they let it sit on some Grade A Madagascar vanilla beans to round everything out prior to packaging.
