Cloudwater Brew - USA Fresh Hop Edition: Citra & Krush

We delved into our yearly exploration of UK fresh hops back in October and we couldn't get enough of them so we’re back with a new fresh hop beer, this time from the USA using Cryo Fresh™ Citra & Krush straight from Yakima. By flash-freezing and concentrating aromatic oils from hops fresh from the field*, Yakima Chief Hops have locked in new and unexpected flavours from lots grown at B.T. Loftus Ranch Hops. Bringing to mind the differences between the vibrancy of a raw tomato versus sun-dried, or even grilled tomatoes, you’ll tune into new notes from these “fresh hop” flavours and aromas. By preserving delicate flavours usually lost to conventional preparation and processing, fresh hops offer you brand new experiences of varieties you know well. In this fresh hop celebration we see the rich flavours of luscious peach syrup, juicy mixed berries, and a refreshing hint of mango sorbet unite in harmony. This blend is further enhanced by zesty lemon citrus notes, a gentle touch of pine, and a satisfying hint of warm woodiness that will leave you craving more.
