Beer description
Mead made with wildflower and buckwheat blossom honey aged on espresso and vanilla beans. The wildflower and buckwheat honey base gives the mead sweetness, but also an earthy, molasses-like backbone. The addition of vanilla beans works to add a sweetness that perfectly compliments the richness of the buckwheat honey and the bitterness of the cold brew espresso and espresso whole beans. The flavors really meld together into a rich and bold coffee and cream taste and mouthfeel without the addition of lactose.
