FSB - Collab Bier

At the FSB summer event on September 13, we will toast to 175 years of the Federal Constitution. With beer, of course. But not with just any beer, but with ours. Never before have we been able to announce this so proudly and unitedly, after all, no fewer than 29 members of "Die freien Schweizer Brauereien" are participating in our "Collab Bier". Cheers Helvetia! This year's FSB summer event takes place just one day after the 175th anniversary of our Federal Constitution. On September 12, 1848, the Swiss Confederation became a federal state and the first democracy in Europe. Eureka! What a heroic deed and what a proud and courageous Swiss community! And let's be honest: our federal constitution and the FSB are a "perfect match" per se, aren't they? And because we also focus on working together, we have come up with something special for the AGM2023. We are bundling all our skills into one beer, a "Collab beer", brewed jointly by FSB members. A light, naturally cloudy beer made from bottom-fermented lager yeast! No sooner said than done: on July 13, the members met to mash together at the Öufi Bier Brauerei & Braui Beiz in Solothurn, where the "Collab Bier" was then brewed. Each member took their most important ingredients with them: Malt (Pilsner), hops (traditional German varieties such as Tettnanger, Hallertauer, Perle) and their own water from the brewery's own spring. With "Collab Bier", we want to strengthen the "Free Swiss Breweries" brand together and spread our innovative spirit and regional beer specialties around the world. And with 29 participating breweries, we hope to break a record: Switzerland-wide, Europe-wide, maybe even the northern hemisphere record? A beer to the community By the way: our summer event is not taking place just anywhere, but in the heart of Switzerland. We thought the Zeughaus in Altdorf was the perfect location for this festive occasion. As the highlight of the event, we raise our glasses to the birthday of our Federal Constitution. Cheers to unity and togetherness at this historic location! We are delighted to be celebrating this summer event with our members.
