The beer flows auburn into the glass with a cream-colored, fine pearly foam. The smell is malt-aromatic with a subtle hop aroma. The first taste is full-bodied after malt candy and dark chocolate, followed by pleasant roasted aromas. The hop aromas are spicy with light cedarwood. Herbal aromas and a little flower meadow appear in the finish. The bitterness is always well balanced and not pushy. Finally, malt flavors predominate with a slight sweetness after roasted almonds, covered with hoppy citrus and orange flavors.
