Croce di Malto - Piedi Neri

Piedi Neri condenses the desire to tie a beer to our territory; to do so we have interpreted a Russian Imperial Stout with the use of Venus rice and chestnuts from Novara. The scents are intense, roasted and root flavors that combine with the warm notes of malt. The taste is round, with a well balanced bittersweet-sweet transition, and alternates on notes of roasted fruit, coffee and liquorice. The finish is firm, dry and unexpectedly smooth. The aftertaste is long, intense, with intriguing hints of cocoa bean and more coffee and licorice.
