Beer description

Beer historically linked to the Bavarian monasteries, where during Lent it was consumed by monks in place of meals. It has a very dark amber color with red reflections and presents a thick, creamy hazelnut colored foam. On the palate it is mainly sweet and malty, although there are strong references to cocoa beans and coffee. It is soft and enveloping, without ever being cloying, thanks to the balance between sweet and bitter. The body is silky and the well-hidden alcoholic notes warm the palate and the throat. It is perfect paired with cocoa and chocolate desserts but is also excellent as a digestive.
