Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
Slightly hazy golden, white head, a lot of fizzy carbonation. Aroma: Malt, yeast, lightly sour. Taste: Combination of moderate to medium sweet and light tart notes. Malty. Fruity notes of stone fruit, apples, peach. Sweetish notes of sugar, honey, Some light yeasty and subtle Brett notes. Barrel comes in towards the end, slightly vinuous and wood. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice variation on traditional Belgian Blond, although it takes some time and patience to fully enjoy the complexity of this beer.
