Already in the early days, master coopers found out that wood makes almost everything taste better. That knowledge is used by us today, therefore we release our barrel aged beers as The Cooper’s Dream Series. Great Beers become even better and more intense by aging in used wooden barrels hand selected by our master brewers. When we age our ‘The Pitchboy’ imperial stout on ex-spirit barrels, we name it The Caulker after the guy using the pitchboys pitch to seal wooden ships. Each serie has been layed to mature on different barrels.
