Beer description
85% Triple Mash Stout aged on Woodford Reserve Double Oak barrels (21 months)
15% Caramel-focused Stout aged on French whisky barrels (11 months)
The Woodford Reserve Double Oak barrels undergo a unique double maturation: first in traditionally charred oak, followed by a second barrel that is heavily toasted and re-charred. This process imparts deep notes of vanilla, toasted coconut, caramel, and oak, which seamlessly intertwine with the intense baker’s chocolate character of our triple mash stout. A rare barrel, a rich flavor—exactly what you want to close out the year.
The French whisky barrels add a soft complexity to the blend. Expect flavors of ripe plums, raisins, and a subtle hint of leather—refined, elegant, and deep. This aromatic layering beautifully balances the stout’s rich chocolate base and elevates the blend to a sophisticated, festive level.
