Beer description
No cinnamon. No holiday spices. This year, we’re doing things differently.
Holidays 2025 – Barrel Blend is our Mexican interpretation of a mudslide. Tropical, creamy, powerful — a stout as a dessert cocktail.
The base: a Low Roast Imperial Stout, aged for 12 months in Añejo tequila barrels from Jalisco, Mexico. These barrels, which held 100% Blue Agave tequila for three years, impart notes of flambéed apricot, vanilla, mint, and a hint of thyme.
We add a Rye Stout aged for 20 months in Sazerac Rye barrels. For bite, depth, and balance. BIG BODY!!!
Blend ratio:
70% tequila barrel–aged imperial stout (12 months)
30% rye stout aged in Sazerac barrels (20 months)
Finished with notes of vanilla, coffee, tonka bean, and dark chocolate, this creates a stout that takes you straight to a Mexican beach — even if it’s snowing outside.
Eine Granate von einem Pastry Stout. Die Fasslagerung tut hier einiges und gibt dem Bier einen famosen Gescgmack. Dazu dickflüssig mit tollem Körper. Ein Genuss!
