Indulgence 23 is a blend of three stout styles, each aged in its own type of bourbon barrel. We start with a robust 16% stout, aged in Heaven Hill barrels for the classic bourbon flavor we love so much. Next, a rye stout, aged in Sazerac Rye II barrels, bringing a rich, umami complexity. Finally, a bold 45 plato stout, aged in Eagle Rare barrels, adding deep notes of leather, toffee, orange zest, spices, and oak. Eagle Rare barrels are rare and highly sought after, so we were thrilled to secure them for our Indulgence. The aroma of Indulgence 23 is bold and layered—dark chocolate, caramelized almonds, and a subtle hint of cigar. Cheers!
