Beer description
Fire is a non-adjunct stout in collaboration with Crisp Malt. Two heritage malts in this 100% English ingredient stout. Chevallier® Heritage Malt, grown since 1820 and the dominant barley variety in England until 1920, is the backbone of many Victorian ales. It brings deep flavors, robust maltiness, and a rich marmalade-like character. Then there’s Plumage Archer® Malt, the first commercially produced cross-bred barley, which had a similar impact on brewing as Chevallier. In this brew, both malts are used in equal parts. We also added Bramling Cross hops, which give notes of blackberries, spices, and wood, and East Kent Goldings hops, which are earthy, a bit bitter, but also have a hint of honey. This beer is quadruple mashed.
Ein wunderbar sämiges und cremiges Imperial Stout mit weichen Röstaromen und einem famosen Malzkörper, der Kaffee, viel Brot und etwas Schokolade mitbringt. Leckeres Ding!
