Central Waters Brewing - Deep Breaths

The Pilcrow Coffee team in Milwaukee makes some really amazing coffee & cold brew drinks. They're always up to something fun, most recently releasing an old fashioned inspired cold brew aptly named "cold fashioned." This, in turn, inspired us to reach out to Great Lakes Distillery to see if they would age some Pilcrow Storyteller blend coffee for this Baltic Porter. Head nods and here we are, this Baltic Porter is smooth, strong, & slightly roasty. After an extended lagering period, we dosed this beer with their potent barrel aged cold brew & continued to rest some of the beer on the bourbon barrel aged coffee beans. This added some nice oaky & bourbon aromatic notes, on top of rich coffee, while still finishing crisp & clean.
