Depot Street La Fleur Dèlicate – Table Farmhouse Ale

Similarly to “Session IPA”, table beers are low in alcohol, but not in flavor. This could also be called a Petite Saison, which is a French/Belgian style of Farmhouse ale that was traditionally brewed to quench the thirst of farmers after a long hard days work. This particular beer was made with Pilsner, Vienna, and Wheat Malt and made exclusively with Amarillo Noble Hops to give a complex, yet subtle tropical fruit and pepper note from the yeast and hop combination. It was keg conditioned with brettanomyces (a wild yeast that imparts particularly funky aroma and flavor) for added complexity.
