Brasserie Artisanale du Der - Bière Du Fort-Carré - La Bragarde

An amber hopped bottom-fermented amber beer (Lager) made from a blend of four malts and three hops with a hint of coriander. The Bragarde honours the inhabitants of Saint-Dizier. In fact, local legend has it that the word comes from François I who, at the end of the victorious battle against the army of Charles V in 1544, exclaimed to the inhabitants of Saint-Dizier "Ah, the brave lads". The distortion of the expression would have given the name Bragards over time.
