DeToekomst - Futurum Barley Wine Blended Scotch Whisky

Not every beer needs to be aged in barrels to gain depth. For this Barley Wine – Blended Scotch Whisky, we took a different approach: the beer is refined directly with a subtle dose of Chivas Regal 12, a sophisticated blended Scotch whisky. The result is a strong barley wine with 11.5% alcohol, in which you can clearly taste the warm maltiness – but now with an elegant, smooth whisky note that blends beautifully into the aroma and taste. The aroma opens with notes of raisins, caramel, and a hint of oak. The taste combines roasted malt and dried fruit with the smooth, almost creamy aromas of Chivas Regal: subtle vanilla, slightly smoky notes, and a warm finish. No sharp alcohol, but a wonderfully round and balanced composition.
