Pours hazy dark brown with a slowly thinning, foamy, tan head. Aroma of raisin, fig, caramelised popcorn, salted peanut, pear, candi sugar, brioche, molasses. Taste is medium malty sweet, lots of dark fruits (fig, raisin), some pear, caramelly & nutty edges, dough-like; light herbal bitter middle with toast, green tea, metallic note too. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering dough, caramel, dark fruits, bit bittering metallic. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Could have been better...
