Beer description
This tripel, which has matured for 12 months in white wine barrels, opens with aromas of oak and white wine characteristics, complemented by the classic fruity esters and lightly spicy, peppery-clove notes of Belgian yeast. Expect a soft, creamy mouthfeel. Due to the long aging process, it is drier than traditional tripels.
The sweetness of the high alcohol content mixes with the characteristics of white wine and Belgian yeast, resulting in a subtle wine gum flavor that blends with malty, slightly grainy lemon-citrus notes. The long-lasting finish leaves you wanting more to savor this complex, aged beer.
Cheers to International Tripel Day!
