Beer description

“Far / Wide” Today we’re launching Glorious and Free, a Trans-Canada brewery collaboration. It’s an invitation for everyone to support local breweries and growers. It’s about bringing all of us together, to take action for our local communities and strengthen Canada at a crucial moment in our history. Glorious and Free IPA was brewed with pilsner malt malted in Mississippi Mills, Ontario and Canadian flaked oats. Hopped generously with Quebec-grown Centennial, Chinook and El Dorado hops from a family farm, this beer is made from what grows here. This is a beer intended to be about something bigger. Stories have the power to build understanding, bridge differences, and bring people together. A portion of the proceeds from every can sold supports the Writers’ Trust of Canada and their mission to advance, nurture, and celebrate Canadian writers and writing so that our country’s voices are heard from coast to coast to coast.

Hazy & pine.

The nose has a slight pine note. The taste is hoppy with pine being the main flavour that continues into a lingering aftertaste. I like that this brewery did a cross country collab…
