Beer description
A history lesson for your mouth! This braggot was developed over years of gathering information on Viking-era agriculture and mead making processes. Smoked and roasted malts were used to recreate the flavor produced by Viking-era malting techniques, while the product itself was filtered over fresh pine branches during brewing, and fermented using a generations-old Norwegian farmhouse yeast. The boil additions include the herb "mead wort" (aka meadowsweet), wildflower honey, and hops from the oldest documented hop-growing region in the world.
Best when sipped from a cattle horn, but fills a glass just the same. Skal!
