Driftless Kernza

This is their second beer using Kernza, a deep-rooted perennial wheatgrass targeted for soil conservation/forage. The aroma of this ale is filled with apple, pear, light spice and bran muffin. Flavors of clove, orange rind, caramelized banana with a slippery and slightly sweet body. Finished somewhat dry but balanced.
