Beer description
Pours clear dark gold with a few instantly dissipating white bubbles. Aroma of apples and skin, some lemon, hay, old oak, wet mulchy earth and barnyard, flowers, soft though somewhat complex. Flavour is again on the softer side, lemon peel and a little juice but only lightly tart, apple skins, cereals, dry grass, minerals, some oak, touch of leather, soft buttery quality but I think wood rather than off flavours, the funk isn't very prominent on the tongue though. Fairly short semi-dry finish. Quite light body, basically flat. Nice effort on an unblended lambic from a new producer, on the whole it's quite soft and not super complex on the tongue but it's solid.
