Fermentation
Beer description
Opens with a subtle and velvety mug sensation, and then turns decisively towards the hops, with citric hints of lime, citrus peel, pineapple and passion fruit. The component given by the use of rye gives a very light acidulous, sour note, which is counterbalanced by a sensation of silky and soft, almost enveloping, full mouthfeel. The drink is definitely lively and satisfying, with a malty body that gives fine hints of honey and caramel. The finish on the palate is on average bitter and dry, with generous spicy and resinous notes, thanks to the addition of fresh hops during fermentation. An excellent beer, particular in its sub-category of style, it combines the aromatic complexity of hops in an intriguing blend of rye and malty body.
