Copper-colored and slightly cloudy, Saison Dupont is considered the mother of all Belgian seasonal beers. It has been brewed in winter since 1844 so that it can be drunk as a refreshing summer beer in the fields in summer. This top-fermented beer specialty smells strongly of lemon and spicy herb meadows, so that your mouth is watering. Surprisingly refreshing citrus when first drunk, followed by fine aromas of spicy herbs, light pepper and a round bitterness. In the finish it remains dry and bitter. It goes well with cheese platters and spicy stews or meat dishes. This beer specialty has a long shelf life thanks to the post-fermentation in the bottle and is drunk from a tall beer glass at 12 ° C.
