Beer description
This year, Bon Appétit, Amélie, is going global.
We found the inspiration for our (almost legendary) pastry porter in Dubai.
The Dubai Chocolate Bar, "Can't Get Knafeh of It," combines creamy tahini and pistachio cream with crunchy chocolate-covered kadaif.
For this pastry porter, we used cacao nibs and cacao powder during brewing (on the hotside) and conditioned the beer with pistachios and real tahini.
By using rolled oats, we made it as silky smooth as the bar itself.
Unfortunately, we didn't manage to achieve the crunch—but surely the sound of opening a can is just as satisfying as cracking a crispy bar, right?
