Beer description
Together with THE BEERSTEWARD from Belgium, we brewed a series of three Pastry Stouts. Leander and Thibo, both of Belgian descent, chose three iconic classics from the Belgian pastry world to reimagine as beers.
This is classic number one: Brésilienne Tart!
A Belgian favorite with a soft yeast crust, filled with creamy pastry cream (flan), topped with a generous layer of whipped cream, and generously sprinkled with brésilienne: caramelized, coarsely chopped hazelnuts.
According to some Dutch people, these are French classics, but hey, let this be our modest revenge for those so-called “French” fries.
