Beer description
Together with THE BEERSTEWARD from Belgium, we brewed a series of three Pastry Stouts. Leander and Thibo, both of Belgian descent, chose three iconic classics from the Belgian pastry world to reimagine as beers.
This is classic number three: éclair!
A pastry made of choux pastry, filled with cream and topped with a layer of icing or chocolate. The name comes from the French word for "lightning bolt."
According to some Dutch people, these are French classics, but hey, let this be our modest revenge for those so-called “French” fries.
